You’re invited to join us for New Tampa’s premier springtime event—the Taste of New Tampa™. As a participating restaurant or beverage vendor during the 17th edition of this unique tasting and regional business expo, you will be able to display your culinary expertise and share tastes of your goodies with New Tampa residents.
Tasting Booth Sponsor Benefits:
- Share your food, beverages and creativity with thousands of potential customers in one afternoon. In 2009, 3,000 people attended the Taste of New Tampa.
- Your restaurant will be listed on our page in the New Tampa Neighborhood News which is distributed to 38,000 households.
- Our website, www.newtampachamber.org will feature our sponsoring restaurants. This is a tasting event and you are the star of the day.
- The New Tampa Chamber of Commerce will provide you with a certificate of appreciation for your restaurant or establishment
- Additional promotion is available through media sponsors including pre-event interviews and special advertising rates.
- Six complimentary regular admission wristbands (valued at $15 each).
Participating Restaurant Responsibilities:
- Restaurants will provide 2,000 demi-servings of your signature dish(es). Projected attendance is 5,000.
- Beverage vendors will provide adequate servings of soda and water based on our estimated 5,000 attendance. All restaurants and beverage establishments agree to abide by all Florida state laws and regulations as well as food handling regulations or requirements. Alcohol is not authorized to be served at this event.
- Food and beverage vendors will provide equipment necessary to prepare and serve your specialties such as power cords, chafers, trays, warming ovens, ice containers, grills and charcoal, grease disposal and buckets for water. Taylor Rental is the selected rental vendor for the 2010 Tast of New Tampa. Please place your order directly by calling 813-949-7479. Taylor Rental will coordinate delivery and pick up of your rented items to the Taste site.
- Decorate your 16’x8’ booth in an attractive, festive and creative manner.
- To participate as a restaurant or beverage vendor you must possess and be able to submit proof of the following (if requested by NTCC or authorities):
- Current Department of Business and Professional Regulations Permit
- Certificate of indemnity insurance
- Current Business and Professional Regulation License from the Division of Hotels and Restaurants. This number is required for the TONT 2010 agreement form.
- Complete vehicle off-loading for booth set up within your 1-hour assigned window. These times will be assigned and noted in your event package which will be delivered to you two weeks before the event. All restaurant booths must be set up before noon the day of the event.
- The event ends at 4 p.m. For the safety of our guests, it is imperative that you do not break down your booth or leave before the end of the event. This will be strictly enforced. We will make load out of our restaurant vendors our priority as soon as it is safely possible. We appreciate your full cooperation.
In addition to the benefits listed above
The New Tampa Chamber will provide:
- 16”x8” booth with up to two 8’ tables (1 rear/1front)
- 110 power to the booth area. Plan to bring your own extension cords. A limited number of 220-volt booths are available on a first come, first served basis. Please clearly mark your electrical preferences on the participation agreement.
- Up to 5 gallons of non-potable water for food service. A limited amount of potable water will be available for cooking.
